“Finding Common Ground” Unify Challenge

Wednesday, June 15, 2022 – 7:00pm ET
Virtual Event

Join the Finding Common Ground Unify Challenge on June 15th at 7 pm ET!

Political division stops things from getting done. But there’s something you can do to bring people together around our common humanity and goals, and strengthen our democracy … one conversation at a time.

Join the Finding Common Ground Unify Challenge for a live one-on-one online conversation (like Zoom) with another person who may have a different outlook on things. It’s not a debate. It’s an invitation to have a productive, open conversation with a fellow American to find common ground and talk about issues our country faces.

You may be thinking… “A video conversation with a complete stranger? What will we talk about?” Don’t worry. We make it super easy. You’ll talk through questions provided in a conversation guide about issues that matter most in America from education and immigration to justice and healthcare.

Common Ground Committee

Common Ground Committee (CGC) is a non-partisan, citizen-led organization dedicated to fostering more progress and less division in politics. By bringing together today’s smartest thinkers to find common ground on critical issues, we inspire citizens and leaders to bring light, not heat, to public discourse. Since 2010, we’ve hosted dozens of notable panelists representing views across the political spectrum, from John Kerry and Condoleezza Rice to Michael Steele and Donna Brazile. As a partner in the democracy reform movement, we also share actionable tools to help people heal division in civil discourse. Subscribe to our podcast and try our Common Ground Scorecard to find candidates that work across the aisle.
