We are a small group of concerned individuals located in and around New York and Connecticut brought together by our common desire to improve the tenor of public discourse on topics of concern to our communities, our country and the world. We seek to include others, who share our vision, from all backgrounds and political views. Our hope is that people of goodwill desire to, and can, engage in constructive dialogue about the many challenges facing our country and our society today.
Bruce Bond is a 30-year veteran of the information technology industry including an executive position at world-renowned analyst firm Gartner, launching several successful software start-ups, and roles as industry analyst, software developer, and chief information officer (CIO). Mr. Bond graduated with an AB degree in Politics from Princeton University where he was a national-class distance runner.
Erik L. Olsen has more than 25 years of experience in investment management and fund management and nine years of real estate investment experience. Mr. Olsen serves as Managing Partner of CataMetrics Management, a Registered Investment Advisory firm. Mr. Olsen specializes in macroeconomic analysis and policy issues. Mr. Olsen holds a B.A. degree from Principia College and an M.B.A. from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
Judy Kudlow is an artist and teacher living in New York City and Redding Connecticut. A graduate from the College of William and Mary, Judy began a long career in public policy in Washington, DC which included work as a business lobbyist, White House communications staff, and press liaison at the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission.
In 1987 she married economist and, now, CNBC personality Larry Kudlow and moved to New York City where she has pursued a second career as an artist. She is President of the Harlem Studio of Art, Ltd., a non-profit educational organization which she co-founded.
Martin Skala is a communications executive with more than 25 years experience in financial writing, investor relations and corporate communications. From 1979 to 1995, he was senior editor of Standard & Poor’s flagship investment advisory publication, The Outlook, Earlier, he held corporate communications positions at American Express and Manufacturers-Hanover Bank. In the 1970s, he was New York City-based business and financial correspondent for The Christian Science Monitor, He holds a B.A. degree from Oberlin College and an M.A. in Economics from Columbia University. He is a member of the New York Financial Writers’ Association.
Barry Persky is the founder of Barry Persky & Company, an executive search firm recognized as a leader in the recruitment of senior executives and managers for industry worldwide. He is responsible for managing the firm’s day-to-day operations and ensuring the delivery of the firm’s services, solutions and support that bring value to its client base. Since launching the firm in 1971, Mr. Persky has served a broad range of clients from pre-IPO start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Persky’s career in personnel search and selection began as an executive responsible for the operations of local and regional branch offices for one of the world’s largest personnel recruitment organizations. Mr. Persky has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
Don Holtz is a mathematician that began his career developing simulations for the defense department. In addition to a corporate career in the automotive and pharmaceutical industries, Don spend seventeen years at Automatic Data Processing with his final position being a Senior vice president and general manager of a group that specialized in defense logistics. After ADP, Mr. Holtz contributed to a number of venture capital backed technology and analytical services companies. Don then founded AIM Marketing which was acquired by Yankelovich Partners in 1998. In 2001, he founded Benchmarketing Analytics which was acquired by Phoenix Marketing in 2010 wher he is President of their Business Intelligence Group. Mr. Holtz has an engineering and MBA degree from the University of Michigan.
Lawrence E. “Chip” Horner, Jr. is a marketing and consumer services professional. He currently serves as Worldwide Director of Global Consumer Affairs at the Colgate-Palmolive Company. His organization leads consumer services in over 100 countries, helping to build brand equity and protect the reputation of the company. In 2001, he served as Chairman of the Board of the Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals International. His early years professionally were spent in marketing consumer products at the Warner-Lambert Company and managing a contact center at Pfizer Inc. Chip holds a B.A. degree from Dickinson College and an M.B.A from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
